About Gallery Concepts

Maine artist and owner of Gallery Concepts, Sherry Williams, has been painting and crafting as a successful entrepreneur for nearly 45 years. Everything she creates, produces, and assembles is done with extraordinary care.

Sherry paints renditions of famous vacation attractions, iconic places, quintessential landscapes, lodge and other rustic themes, alluring wildlife, famous resorts, and various outdoor activity motifs.

After the mockup and painting phases finish, Sherry converts the painting into a digital version and produces scaled prints. The team then applies her prints to various materials, and then assembles and distresses each part into a cohesive heirloom quality product for all to enjoy as part of their home décor.

History of The Gloucester Fisherman’s Memorial

The Gloucester Fisherman’s Memorial was built to celebrate the city’s 300th anniversary and honor the lives of its many bold fishermen who were lost at sea. The memorial was erected in 1925 and depicts a steadfast fisherman at the wheel, eyes fixed on the horizon, bravely navigating through stormy seas.

The iconic bronze statue proudly stands 8’ tall and rests on a 5’ granite base, inside of which is a time capsule containing 47 items representing Gloucester history and culture in 1923.
